The progression of the clip is absolutely original. Imagine, the poor blonde singer witnesses the unhappiness off the bohd (boy of her dreams) and tries to let him understand how much she loves him. To no avail. He likes the sexy cheerleader captain who doesn’t understand him. It’s always like that, viewers might think, identifying themselves with the poor heartbroken girl, and sigh. But wait! Nothing is lost if you still have the will to change! This is (suburban) America after all, where dreams come true! Get your shit together, nerdy girl, you can do it!
